This web site will offer you more than beads. Along with Donna Ballard's lampworked glass beads she offers lapidary and silversmithing including her husbands woodworking items.

Donna started making torch beads in June of 1997. She has always been interested in glass. Working in stained glass off and on for some 25 years as a hobby. There are many other crafts she has learned , from cake decorating to quilling. She says being a Navy wife you learn to keep busy. But now that her husband has retired she can do more. For the past 19 years she has had her own business grooming dogs and cats. With 2 poodles of her own staying in practice is easy.

Donna and Leonard are both rockhounds, and enjoy a good rock hunt. They are both a member of the Kitsap Mineral & Gem Society in their home town of Silverdale, WA. They both work with the rocks, cutting and polishing etc. but Leonard has come to love working with wood. He does wood carving and wood burning and is now doing woodturning.

The International Society of Glass Beadmakers.
